Teacher certification program

Program Cost and Fees

INSPIRE TEXAS teacher training includes a built-in network of education professionals who contribute not only to your preparation as a teacher, but also to professional development throughout your career in education. Unlike many other programs, INSPIRE TEXAS provides more than just training. Your fees include instructor-led coursework, class cohorts with the opportunity to network and learn from other students as you matriculate through the program; mentorships; job fairs; access to a proud alumni network, the ability to certify in other areas of education, and direct resources from our parent organization, Region 4 Education Service Center.

Upon acceptance into our program, you have the option of paying your pre-service training fee in monthly installments. The remaining balance is not due until you land your first teaching job (Internship or Clinical Teaching).

STUDENT LOAN FORGIVENESS FOR TEACHERS

Each year, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) submits a list of subject matter teacher shortage areas and a list of designated low-income schools to the US Department of Education (USDE). Teachers with certain types of student loans may qualify for partial loan forgiveness, deferment, or cancellation benefits.
For more information, visit the TEA website.
